LISD to observe Thanksgiving Holiday
The Laredo Independent School District campuses and administrative offices will be closed beginning Monday, November 20, through Friday, November 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The Parent and Family Engagement will be hosting a Heart Care & FAFSA learning session on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM at the LISD Performing Arts Complex.
The Laredo Independent School District Parent & Family Engagement Department will be hosting several Parent Academy of Learning Sessions for the month of November.

Each year, October is recognized worldwide as Dyslexia Awareness Month, a time to come together to raise awareness, share resources, and tell stories about dyslexia successes. Help Laredo ISD spread awareness!

Laredo Independent School District campuses will be closed Monday, October 9, for staff development training. LISD administration, faculty, and staff will report to work on Monday morning for their required staff development.

Today we celebrated our first Eagle Soar with Success Assembly (ESS-A) where we celebrtaed this first six weeks Top Scholars, AR classes and the first ever King and Queen of attendance! We ended the assembly with a presentation to Smiles from Heaven! No one fights alone!

The Gifted and Talented referral window is now open! Students currently enrolled in K-12th may be referred for the GT Program by parents, teachers, counselors, community members, peers, or themselves. *See flyer for more information.*
